Malgorzata Wiatros-Motyka

Senior Electricity Analyst

Malgorzata joined Ember in August 2022 to lead its analysis of the global electricity transition – “Maggie” will be the lead author for the Global Electricity Review and a new Asia Electricity Review.

Maggie was previously with the IEA Clean Coal Centre (now the ICSC), where she was integral to several international projects, including country-sectoral analyses for the CIAB and the USDOS. She has authored various policy-relevant reports on the energy sector, covering a range of diverse issues from methanol production, through state-of-the-art emissions control, to sustainable power in emerging markets.

Outside of work, Malgorzata enjoys cycling, travelling and spending time with her family.
