Sarah heads up Ember’s European team, leading the overall strategy to enable Europe’s transition to a decarbonised energy system by 2035. 

Sarah previously spent 15 years as an energy trader in both European and Australian markets. During this time she worked at utilities, financial institutions and commodity trading companies. Immediately prior to joining Ember in October 2020, she was Head of Research & Intelligence for a global anti-human trafficking charity.

She loves travelling, trekking and trail running and used to be a volunteer mountain guide in Guatemala.
