The Sandbag team is expanding. Can you convince EU policymakers to fix the EU carbon market? To phase-out coal? To drastically cut industrial CO2 emissions with radical process change and CCS? Then this could be the job for you.

You'll need to be experienced at advocacy, with knowledge of European process, passionate about fighting climate change, and great at building professional relationships. Much of Sandbag's research is data-heavy, and so a commitment to evidence-based policy and an understanding of technical material is a must. Equally importantly, Sandbag supports a broad approach to tackling climate change; we think that rapid emissions reductions require a suite of lower and zero carbon technologies and actions, including work on nuclear and CCS. However, we're always open to evidence-based arguments if you disagree!

We're a small team (currently 10 people), so everyone has to take the iniative and muck in with all sorts of jobs, and there's a great variety of projects that we're interested in!

The post will be based mainly in Brussels with frequent trips to London, and elsewhere around European Member States.

If you're an experienced and charming climate policy advocate who needs to improve their Manneken Pis souveneir collection please apply before the 21st October.
