Beatrice Petrovich

Beatrice joined Ember as Senior Energy & Climate Analyst in the Europe team. She has over ten years of professional experience in the energy sector as a consultant, researcher, and lecturer, working in Switzerland, the UK, Italy, and international R&D projects.

Before joining Ember, Beatrice was a senior researcher at the Institute for Economy and the Environment at the University of St.Gallen, investigating citizens’ and investors’ preferences for clean and local energy solutions, including residential solar and energy communities. Before that, she was a research fellow at the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies and an energy consultant, deep-diving into energy market regulation and energy trading.

Beatrice holds a MSc in Economics, and a Ph.D. from the Chair for Management of Renewable Energies at the University of St.Gallen.

When not working, Beatrice loves riding around Zurich with her family’s cargo bike, swimming in the local swimming pools, and continuing her lifelong project of learning German.
