Rashmi Mishra

Rashmi joined Ember in the role of Communication Officer – Global. She works with Global Insights team and Coal Mine Methane team on creating compelling communication resources for global audiences. She also contributes to Ember’s flagship reports, including the Global Electricity Review and Global Renewables Tracker.

Previous to Ember, she worked as a communication professional at World Resources Institute, handling strategic communication for projects on urban development and water resilience. In her other role as a campaigner, she ran multiple campaigns at the intersection of climate change, social movements and gender justice, and her articles have appeared in multiple news publications. Before joining the climate work movement, she was working in the advertising industry, creating digital campaigns for global brands.

Rashmi is based in India. She loves to travel, click photographs, and talk about public transit and pedestrian-friendly urban spaces.
