Senior Electricity Policy Analyst, Asia

Aditya supports Ember’s work in Asia. He is responsible for leveraging Ember’s analysis work to empower national organizations in Asia and promoting policy advocacy on coal-to-clean electricity transition in the region.

He previously managed large renewable electricity projects that covered about 50,000 homes, mainly along India’s borders with Bangladesh, Myanmar and Pakistan. Prior to this, he also led on a World Bank funded project to develop new bioenergy technologies.

He holds a Master of Public Policy from University of Oxford and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh.
